One pie on menu contains fish – ask. I love the soups here - delicious huge bowl chock full of thick creamy soup with vegetables and ground provisions. Ask about the juice of the day; they combine vegetable and fruit juices in ways I have never seen before – delicious!

Join Brother Matthew (Reggae Poet) and Christine Luke  of Rainforest Mushrooms Dominica in their home/art studio for a vegan ital lunch. They have lived in a symbiotic relationship with the rainforest for over 30 years. Delicious lunch includes salad, main dish and dessert with bush tea or juice. Specialties: gourmet oyster mushroom dishes; vegan coconut cream cheese; vegetarian local ital foods; rainforest bush teas. Other options available: Peruse their  boutique featuring hand painted t-shirts, jewellery, clothing, herbal oils and incenses, dried  mushroom products, dried herbs, local arts and crafts, indigenous musical instruments, carvings and fine art. Take an informative farm tour of the only organic oyster mushroom farm in the Caribbean -  starting with a power point presentation and then a tour from the laboratory nestled under the rainforest; through the greenhouses to the rainforest meditation; this tour is unique. Take a workshop on coal pot cooking or how to make local minimally processed cacao (chocolate).  Reservations required. Their knowledge of mushroom farming and local traditional healthy lifestyles is amazing!!

Their cakes are to die for; I serve them at my Ross University Healthy Gatherings and any other chance I get.

Vegetarian rotis every Wednesday and Saturday with choice of pumpkin, spinach, chickpeas, split peas, string beans, potatoes as a choice of ingredients. You can call in advance and they have it ready; you can also order at the desk; lovely historical Roseau environment to relax and have roti in. Lovely staff.
 
Cornerhouse Cafe
This lovely restaurant has more than one vegetarian option available everyday! Humous wraps; Bean enchiladas; and many times there is a vegetarian special of the day. They do not use cubes or msg and they are very aware of keeping vegetarian dishes seperate from others.  You can go online while there!

Some people consider fish part of a vegetarian diet – always ask about fish; seasoning cubes; eggs and dairy before ordering.
